Picture of the Month

 With the completion of our first Picture of the Year Contest, I would like to thank all of our contestants for their entries. You have made our contest a success among fellow contestants, our customers and other visitors. With that, I’d like to recognize and congratulate Luke Sanders of Alturas for his winning picture that won him a $250 gift card to McArthur Farm Supply! 

Congratulations Luke! Also, please be sure to check out our new rules. We have revised them a bit to allow each contestant only two entries per month.

            McArthur Farm Supply is looking for your photos! Every month, we are asking you to submit your pictures that have captured the Intermountain lifestyle. Whether it be work, play, or the natural beauty of the Intermountain area, we want to see the photos you have taken. Should you have the best photo for the month, you will win a $25 gift certificate to the McArthur Farm Supply and have your picture posted on our website for everyone to see. Your chance at winning doesn’t stop there.  Each monthly winner will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 gift certificate to the McArthur Farm Supply. This $250 gift certificate will be awarded at the end of the year. This contest is open to residents from Burney to Alturas and everywhere in between. So, send us your photos capturing our Intermountain lifestyle!

Official Rules

• Photograph subjects can be of the Intermountain lifestyle and scenery.
• Submissions will not be considered without the name, address, phone number and e-mail address attached to EACH entry.
• People eligible for this contest must reside within the Intermountain Area which stretches from Burney to Alturas and anywhere in between.
• Only electronic submissions will be considered for the contests (they can be either digital or scanned). The preferred format is .jpg and no smaller than 720 x 486. Hard copies of photographs will not be accepted. All submissions must be sent electronically to Amanda at mfsamanda@frontier.com.
• Inappropriate submissions will not be entered into the contest. The photographer will be notified by email if his/her submissions(s) has been entered.
• Each submission must contain a 2-3 sentence description which elaborates or adds information to the photograph entry.
• Winners will be chosen the last business day of each month. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the McArthur Farm Supply and have their picture posted on the McArthur Farm Supply website in addition to our yearly calendar. You can visit the website any time at www.mcarthurfarmsupply.com to view the gallery.
• Each monthly winner will then be entered into the yearly winner. The annual winner will be chosen and receive a $250 gift certificate to the McArthur Farm Supply.
• The photographer must hold the copyright to all photos he or she submits. Photographs that violate the laws of copyright will be disqualified.
• Photographers retain ownership of all copyrights.
• By submitting an image to McArthur Farm Supply, you hereby grant permission and rights to store, display, and use the image, its thumbnails, and you name as the photographer, on any of McArthur Farm Supply’s website sites and in any of McArthur Farm Supply’s advertising or promotional materials both printed and on-line.
• Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud.
• Photographers must have sufficient permission of any recognizable models or other persons appearing in the photography.
