McArthur Farm Supply is looking for your photos! Every month, we are asking you to submit your pictures that have captured the Intermountain lifestyle. Whether it be work, play, or the natural beauty of the Intermountain area, we want to see the photos you have taken. Should you have the best photo for the month, you will win a $25 gift certificate to the McArthur Farm Supply and have your picture posted on our website for everyone to see. Your chance at winning doesn’t stop there.  Each monthly winner will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 gift certificate to the McArthur Farm Supply. This $250 gift certificate will be awarded at the end of the year. This contest is open to residents from Burney to Alturas and everywhere in between. Even though the Burney, California store is closed, the feed needs of the customers in the Burney area will continue to be met by Hovis Hardware in Burney. The Ace hardware store will be selling chicken scratch, layer pellets and crumbles. We will also be offering the Diamond Lamb/Rice and Beef/Rice dog food.

We value the wonderful customers that we met during our time in the Burney community and would like to continue to offer these products to you and the surrounding communities. We hope that these products will help you to shop locally and remember that we are right over the hill for all your farming and ranching needs in McArthur.

We are sad to say that the Burney McArthur Farm Supply will be closing it’s doors on February 1, 2010.

Due to the slower economic times and a restructuring/remodel at the McArthur store we have decided to close the Burney store and expand the McArthur location. We are very excited that our store has outgrown our current facilities in McArthur and in the recent future we will be constructing additional square footage to the current building.

This expansion will provide more room for merchandise and products to serve you better. In addition to expanding the retail space we will be including a remodel and expansion of our office space to give our staff extra breathing room and comfort.

 While we are sad to leave the Burney community we still offer all the great services in McArthur that we did in Burney and hope that all will continue to get  their farming and ranching needs at a store that appreciates their customers.
